"These pads are beautifully made. The velcro is SOOOO strong and they look sweet on the roof rack crossbars. Our only issue is this...we didn't purchase them exactly for the intended use -- we wanted to protect the crossbars from where they attach to the hard shell cargo box we just purchased. The length listed was accurate and they were JUST wide enough to fit where we needed them to. However, we had to cut them open and remove the padding because it made the crossbars too thick to accommodate the hardware to attach the cargo box. In the picture, you can't really see very well that there is all that padding, and the description said "flat rack pad", so we weren't expecting this. It made me sad to have to cut into them (hope they don't fray), but still happy with how they look and perform."
